Mourning in the Houses
For those unable to go for the ziarat of Imam Husayn (A.S.) on the day of A'ashura, Imam Baqir (A.S.) mentions the manner of performing A'zadari as follows:
قال الباقر (ع):
ثُم ليَندُب الحُسين (ع) ويَبكيه ويأمُر من في داره بالبُكاء عليه ويُقيم في داره مُصيبته بإظهار الجَزع عليه ويتلاقُون بالبُكاء بعضُهم بعضاً في البُيوت ولَيُعزِّ بعضهم بعضاً بمُصاب الحُسين (ع)
He should mourn over Husayn (A.S.), weep for him and instruct the members of the house to weep for him. He should establish the mourning ceremony in the house by exhibiting lamentations and grief over him; the people should meet one another in their homes and offer condolences and consolation to each other over the calamities which befell him.

Visiting the Shrine of Imam Husain (a.s.)
He (Imam Husayn) sees those, who come to his shrine and he knows them by their names, their father's names and their ranks in the eyes of Allah, The Mighty, The Glorious, better than you know your own children!
Wasaail al Shiah vol 14, pg. 411.Vengeance for the blood of Husain (a.s.)
Imam Ali ibne Musa ar-Reza (a.s.) said:
Four thousand Angels descended from the heavens to aid Imam Hussain (a.s.), but when they reached there they saw that he had already been martyred. Thus, now they all remain near his blessed grave with disheveled hair covered with dust until the rising of the Qaem (Imam al Mahdi). Then they will all aid him and their slogan will be:
Vengeance for the blood of Husain.

Lamenting over the sorrows of Ahlulbait (a.s.)
Musme’ Kardeen says that one day Imam Ja’far as Sadiq (a.s.) told me,
“O Musme’! Being a resident of Iraq do you go for the pilgrimage to the grave of Imam Husayn (a.s.)”?
I replied, “No, for the people of Basra know me well and they are the adherents of the Caliph and there are numerous enemies from the nasibies (those who bear enmity towards the Prophet’s Ahlul Bayt) of the clans and others around us. I fear lest they malign me in presence of the sons of Sulayman (bin Abdul Malik, the Abbaside Caliph), who would then torture and harass me.” Then Imam said,
“Then do you remember the troubles which were inflicted on Imam Husayn (a.s.)”
and I replied in the affirmative. Imam again asked,
“Are you then disturbed by it”?
I replied, “Verily yes, by Allah! And this grief effects me such that the people of my family see this (it’s effects) upon my face, and I even leave my meals while this sorrow becomes apparent on my cheeks.” Imam Sadiq (a.s.) said,
“May Allah have mercy upon your tears! Verily you are of those people who are afflicted by our grief, those who rejoice at our prosperity and lament over our sorrows, and who are attached to us in our time of dread and peace. In fact when you die, you will find our Blessed Forefathers close to you and they will counsel the Angel of death regarding you, and glad tidings shall be given to you which will illuminate your eyes. Then he shall be more compassionate and merciful towards you than a mother is to her son.”
The Customary Mourning
عن أبي هارون المكفُوف قال دخلتُ على أبي عبد اللهِ فقال لي أنشِدني فأنشدتُه فقال لا كما تُنشدون وكما ترثِيه عند قبرهِ فأنشدتهُ
Abu Haroon al‑Makfoof said:
I presented myself before Imam Sadiq (A.S.) whereupon he said to me: "Recite for me a poetry" and so I recited for him. He said "Not in this manner. Recite for me as you recite poems and elegies over the grave of Husayn(A.S.)" and so I recited for him (again).

Pigeons Curse the Murderers of Imam Hussain (a.s.)
Salamunalaikum
This wallpaper is based on the tradition of Imam as-Sadiq (a.s.) which is as follows:
Daood bin Farqad, who says that I was seated in the house of Imam Jafar as-Sadiq (a.s.) when we saw a pigeon (called Zaghabi) humming. Imam turned towards me and asked,
“O Dawood! Do you know what this bird is saying?”
I replied in the negative. Imam said,
“It curses the murderers of Imam Hussain (a.s.), thus preserve such pigeons in your houses.”
