Wilayat of Ameerul Momineen (a.s.) is more important than being from his bloodline

 Imam Sadiq (a.s.) said:

The Divine Successorship (Wilayat) of Imam Ali (a.s.) is more dear for me than I am from his bloodline. For the fact that, his Divine Successorship is mandatory by Allah but being from his bloodline is the grace of Allah.
